Taking inspiration from the tinctorial plants that can be used to create natural dyes, Marie Dominique has created an elegant embroidery design of the indigo plant. Appropriately this design is stitched using Eco Vita Naturally Dyed Organic Wool Thread and a pre-printed 28 count linen base. The kit includes everything you need to immerse yourself in a relaxing embroidery experience using our most sustainable thread yet. The Eco Vita Thread included in this kit is a 100% organic, non-mulesed wool that has been dyed using infusions of completely natural ingredients such as walnut, rhubarb, indigo and juniper. Crewel wool thread is used as a single strand and cannot be divided. Its fluffy quality adds softness, texture and a three-dimensional quality to needlework.
