Do you sell patterns, kits, or both?

We offer both patterns and kits across several types of needlework. Check each product description to see whether you are purchasing a pattern, a kit, a canvas, or a tool.

What is included with a pattern?

A pattern provides the design and instructions for your project. The format and contents vary by product, so please read the individual listing for details about charts, instructions, and any materials you will need to purchase separately.

Do kits include all materials?

Kit contents vary. Please check the product description for the included fabric or canvas, thread or yarn, needles, and instructions, along with any additional tools you may need.

What is the difference between counted cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, and punch needle?

Counted cross stitch uses X-shaped stitches placed by counting threads or squares on fabric. Needlepoint is usually worked on an open canvas mesh. Hand embroidery includes many stitches used to decorate fabric. Punch needle uses a special tool to create loops of thread or yarn through a backing fabric.

Do you carry products for beginners?

Yes—our shop includes projects for beginning stitchers. Look for beginner-friendly descriptions, and contact us if you would like help choosing a starting project.

How quickly do orders ship?

We ship orders daily and send an email notification once your package has shipped. If you need an item for a particular date, please contact us before ordering to discuss shipping options.

What shipping options are available?

We use USPS and UPS, with delivery confirmation. Expedited shipping is available through USPS Priority Mail and UPS. Place an item in your cart and view the cart to see shipping options and costs. Contact us if you need help choosing a shipping method.

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your purchase. If you are not satisfied, we offer a money-back guarantee on purchases from The Artful Needleworker website, subject to the following return conditions:

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
Items must be in new, original condition and original packaging.
You may return an item for a refund, store credit, or replacement.
Shipping fees and taxes are nonrefundable.
