The Nutmeg Company was officially founded in 1994 when Meg started designing and producing her own cross stitch kits, focusing on three-dimensional cross stitch projects.
Their clever designs are to be worked on aida cloth or perforated paper. The Nutmeg Kits containing all the instructions and supplies to create the imaginative designs to treasure.
The Nutmeg Company has kits to create miniature houses, keepsakes, Christmas decorations, gift bags and boxes and greetings cards. Half of their kits are stitched on aida fabric and half on perforated paper. All Nutmeg designs are cross stitched, but some also use backstitch and some designs have French knots or beads on them as well. Some of their designs kits are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced stitchers.
