A cross stitch and needlework designer for twenty years, Carolyn Manning finds inspiration for her work from so many things: from nature to architecture, quilting to cartoons, and all those things in between. Color makes her giddy, and she is always on the lookout for unexpected combinations to create unique palettes. Carolyn has a quirky side that is sated by the creation of her more whimsical designs, and a side that finds satisfaction in more traditional designs(always with a twist!). She's been called a tree? hugging faerie lover who, as her brother would tell it, ate too many crayons as a child. When Carolyn is not designing or stitching, she might be found sketching, crocheting, quilting, or engaging in some other form of fiber and textile art.
