Avlea Folk Embroidery was born out of Krista West’s love for historic Mediterranean folk embroidery. Krista West designs embroidery and cross stitch kits with specialty imported fabrics and historical color palettes for an authentic folk embroidery experience. Beginners and experienced stitchers love Avlea kits for their unique designs, high quality materials, and easy-to-read patterns with loads of stitcher support. Each design was inspired by a historic source from her personal collection of vintage textiles and from her folk embroidery research in Greece.
